                                                                   There are so many way to get the knowledge,movie is one of them. This medium also useful to better understand the literature.In our department arranged the movie screening of “The Modern Times”. The movie came out in 1936.The modern time is related the development of individualism,technological,political and industrialism.

 

                       The famous comic character Charlie Chaplin is the main character of the movie,he was the director of the movie.This movie is tragic story with comic tell.tone of the film is not highly tragic.

 

                  In the biginnig of this movie people campere wih the domestic animal.Animal are controlled by master and people are controlled by the system. 

              A machine for to have meal without using the hand and we can see that this one is not practicle.there is so many problem with this machine.so it better to use our onw hand for having a meal.

 

                    He working in machine industry.They all are working like machine as well.we can not see the freedom of workers.they became a slaves of machine even though machine made by a man.Charlie try to keep up with mind numbing repeatation of balts that must be tightenedas they make thire way to him on the conveyer belt.

 

                      This the female character of the movie.we can see that in those time people were jobless.so the girl became thief.she stole the bananas and feed his two sisters and father also because he was also jobless.she she has a dream to live life with facility.This dream became  fulfill for a few time when Charlie got the job in the department store .

 

                      They rest by a tree and saw a couple said goodbye. They both have dream of home.He had imagin that they have home ,they got married,fresh fruites and milk etc.we can see that they want a happy liffe ,but unfortunatlly it is in only imagination.Gamine got the job in a café and earning money then she brought him out from the jail. He also got the job the same café on the basis  of recomndation letter. In this film we can see the innocentness of Charlie’s character.some way its symbolized the situation of unemployment situation ,felling and emotion of those people

.

                    Then their life goes on  happily there is twist that police searching for the Gamine and  found out her in a café, so  Charlie and Gamine run off from that place.

                    She cried  and asked  question that what’s the use of trying? They made so many effort and they live a good life and  now again there is a problem,that time Charlie gave her strength and said Don’t give up.Keep a smile and let’ start a new begnnig.

They again strat a new begging.

“There is will there is a way.”

                    This letter he got aSheriff writes a recommendation letter and he got the job on this basis of letter in departmenat store.
